After suffering for the past two years with nervous breakdown, Dr. S. G. ROGERS, a well known physician of Darlington, died Monday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, at his home in that place. Dr. Rogers was 55 years old and is survived by his wife and two children, Wilbur and Joseph, who are at home; two brothers, Edward and George ROGERS of New Castle, and aunt Mrs. Frank NEWBY resides in this city. Dr. Rogers lived in Darlington for the past eight years and was the best known physician in that vicinity. He was a very enthusiastic worker in the Odd Fellows lodge and was a member of the M. E. church. The funeral will be held from the family residence Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be at the Odd Fellows cemetery. Dr. Rogers had many friends in this city who will attend the funeral.
